ITS Campus, ITS News  — Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), in collaboration with Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) Indonesia, reaffirmed its commitment to sustainable innovation through the Grand Final of WasteTrack 2025 on Thursday (May 22). This competition, which focuses on developing web and app-based waste bank management solutions, showcased fresh ideas for waste management.

The event, held at ITS Tower 2, aimed to improve the efficiency of tracking waste distribution in Surabaya. In his remarks, ITS Rector Prof Ir Bambang Pramujati ST MSc Eng PhD noted that in Surabaya—particularly at ITS—the system for sorting and separating waste still isn’t working effectively. He expressed hope that participants could address this problem.

The final round featured 10 teams with the best innovations, selected from 50 registered teams from seven different universities. These finalists had already undergone an incubation period and received guidance from professionals, which helped them continue their journey in innovating waste traceability.
